6-A, 6-B, 6-C: You should have your December poem completely memorized by Monday.

6-D: Choose and bring in a copy (printout, book, handwritten, or any other way) of your favorite poem. It must be by a known poet. You will be writing a five paragraph essay about your poem in school, starting with library research after Thanksgiving break.

Paraphrase:

(verb).  To rewrite or restate the ideas, opinions, or arguments of another person in your own words. 

It is important in written schoolwork to give credit to the other person when you paraphrase.  Otherwise, paraphrasing is plagiarism.
