  11. Priam dies when Pyrrhus kills him on the family altar

Trojan War Events 6-D

  1. Paris takes Helen from Menelaus.
  2. Discord was angry that she didn’t get invited, and threw a golden apple on the table.  Paris judges the goddesses to choose the fairest, and chooses Aphrodite.
  3. Paris kills Achilles with a poisoned arrow guided by Apollo
  4. Achilles gets dipped in the River Styx.
  5. Odysseus beats Ajax for Achilles’ armor, and Ajax goes mad and kills himself.
  6. Achilles kills Hector, and drags his naked body behind his chariot three times around the walls of Troy, and then refuses to give the Trojans his body.
  7. The Greeks build the Trojan Horse to get into Troy; the Trojan Horse enters Troy and the city is defeated.
  8. The Greeks won the war and burned down Troy.
  9. Paris is shot by a poisoned arrow, and Oenone refuses to heal him.
  10. Achilles refuses to fight; his friend Patroclus pretends to be him, and is killed by Hector.  Achilles goes back into battle and kills Hector.
  11. Sinon pretends that he is on the side of the Trojans so they will bring the Horse into the city.
  12. The Palladium is taken by Odysseus and Diomede
  13. Agamemnon was killed by his wife Clytemnestra in the bath with an axe, because she had gotten involved with his cousin Aegisthus while he was away.
