Poetry

We read poems in class. We study grammar and punctuation with poetry. Once a month, students will memorize and recite a poem. This year, you will get to know poetry and you will find some poems that mean a great deal to you.

Dates for poem recitals: The weeks of October 4, November 1, December 6, January 10, February 7, March 7, April 11, and May 9.
