How to Choose a Poem
When you want to pick a poem to recite for class, here are
some good rules:
-
-
Choose a poem you really like.
-
Read it over carefully.
-
It should take at least 30 seconds to recite
(12 lines minimum)
-
No bad language.
-
Check your selection with the teacher. I
may reject it because it's badly written, boring, or offensive,
or for any other reason.
-
Send a copy of the poem to the teacher.
-
Start memorizing the poem right away.
