Proper Header

Always, for the rest of your life, put some identifying information on what you write. You don't want to lose credit for your work just because no one can tell who wrote it!

In sixth grade, this is what you put on every piece of writing, at the top.

Name (first and last)
Section
Assignment name
Subject
Date

Example:

Joe Dogcatcher
6-D
Memoir
English
September 30, 2011

When you save it to Google Docs, save it with a TITLE and put it in the proper SUBJECT FOLDER. The title should have your last name, the type of assignment, and the date.

Example:

DogcatcherMemoirSept30

Those few simple steps will save you a year's worth of grief, believe me!
