Plants: Review

For the chapter test, you should:

1. Know the meaning of the following vocabulary words (to review them, look them up in the readings or the glossary, or even better, use your notes in your journal).

2. Be able to list the five kingdoms of living things, the two main groups of plants, and the two main groups of seed plants.

3. Know the two types of root, the two types of stem, and the two main types of leaf. You should also know the two main types of broad leaf.

4. Identify the parts of the flower.

5. Explain how fertilization happens.

6. Give the steps of photosynthesis.

7. Tell how a seed plant and a non-seed plant are alike and how they are different.

8. Explain how plants are important to all life on Earth. (You have to put this together from what you've read)

9. In addition, you should review the stretch facts and the notes in your journal. One five-point question on the test is always from this information
