4. You should be able to compare and contrast members of different kingdoms. That is, you should be able to tell how two kingdoms are alike and how they are different.

You should be able to talk about life on Earth - what it's made out of, the definition of an organism, and how organisms can be so different in shape, size, and behavior and yet so similar in their "activities of life." You need to show you understand why scientists argue about whether some things are "living" or not.
