As usual when I’m doing NaNoWriMo, I am feeling my way into a cavern without a flashlight.
In fiction, chance plays a much smaller part than it does in real life. You get one coincidence per story, the one that sets things going.
I am belligerent about negative lists, especially lists of what to avoid when writing.
